P006 → Forests of Symbols

Concept

Forests of Symbols” stages encounters between hyper-real vegetation and uncanny, glowing geometries. Trees, rivers, and undergrowth are rendered with naturalistic precision, yet punctuated by luminous forms - triangles, rings, pulsating shapes - that intrude like signals from another dimension.

These environments propose an alternative ecology: a forest where technology and nature have fused, and where ritualistic symbols emerge from the landscape itself.

Notes

This work positions itself within the dialogue of contemporary eco-art and speculative digital aesthetics. By inserting artificial symbols into simulated ecosystems, “Forests of Symbols” foregrounds the tension between organic growth and technological intrusion. The work references traditions of Land Art and Light Art (from Robert Smithson to Dan Flavin), while reimagining them in virtual form.
The glowing signs operate as portals - ambiguous presences that invite interpretation as either alien technologies or new mythologies. In doing so, the project gestures toward a future where forests themselves may be augmented realities, mediating between ecological memory and digital ritual.
