P001 → Interrupted Communication

Music video for the single “Interrupted Communication” by musician Emme - part of her album “Talk to the Spheres.”

Concept

The video follows an alien, non-natural light presence journeying through a sequence of natural environments - concentric worlds that echo and evolve through repetition. Each realm is a re-iteration of the last, shifting from monochrome desolation to full chromatic vitality. This cycle reflects the duality between what we perceive as nature and what lies beyond it - the constant repetition that, through its looping, allows transformation.

Inspired by the titles of the album (Talk to the Spheres) and of the single it was created for (Interrupted Communication), the piece speaks of the impossibility of dialogue between entities of different nature - until their shared essence reunites.
At the end of the video, the light merges with the universe’s creative force, breaking the cycle of disconnection.

Notes

The project translates sound into motion and light, visualizing communication as an ongoing, cyclical process of evolution and transformation.
Through concentric worlds, the alien presence becomes both a metaphor and a medium - embodying the attempt to reconnect with an essence we feel separated from, yet inherently belong to.
The progression of color, texture, and rhythm mirrors a process of reconnection: from distance and silence to
resonance and colorful union.
